Commercial Photography Private Galleries

Private galleries offer you the ability to review your proof images online. This affords you the opportunity to quickly review and comment on proofs from your office or home computer. It saves on shipping costs and shipping times as well, making the entire review process both faster and less expensive. Private galleries are an economical and time-efficient way to provide us with rapid guidance and input so that we can produce precisely the images you require for your project. Private galleries allow you to go about your normal daily activities (no need to hang in our commercial photography studios if you have more important things to do) and yet provide us with feedback nearly instantly when required.

When you ask us to work on a commercial photography project we will create a private gallery for you. The gallery will have a unique Login ID and password that will only be provided to you. You are free to share this login information with any co-workers, contractors, or customers who need to review the images, but we will not provide this login information to anyone else. The login information is encrypted and stored in our secure database so that even highly confidential projects are protected from unauthorized viewing. Images in the private gallery can be viewed only after a successful login (the one exception is that Munson Photographic staff can view the images so that they can discuss specific images with you during the review process).

If you decide to use a private gallery for your project then we will place all images we produce into the private gallery for your review. We will call you or send an email to notify you that there are new images to review. You can then login on any computer and review the images for composition, lighting, mood, depth of field, etc. The most recent images will be in the front so you won't need to weed through older images to see the most recent ones.

Private galleries provide a thumbnail for each image in the gallery. Clicking on the thumbnail image will present a larger version of the image with additional details relevant to your project. We produce all images on color calibrated equipment to minimize tonal variations and saturation differences. If you view the images on a color calibrated monitor then you should see an accurate presentation of the image during your review.

Private galleries may not eliminate all need to review transparencies or prints of an image. However, during the early review stages a private gallery can help tremendously to nail down composition and lighting with a minimum of time and expense - especially if you are not able to be present while we take your commercial images. Then, if you need to review the final candidate transparencies or prints, we can provide these for your final review or customer presentation.

Once you are satisfied with the images in your private gallery we will provide your commercial photography images on CD-ROM, as transparencies, or as prints according to your requirements. By using your private gallery you will already know what you are receiving and shouldn't have any surprises.
