Frequently Asked Questions
 |
What clothing is best?
"It is best to keep clothing simple. Kids that are comfortable
in their clothing are usually happy and easy to work with. Avoid clothing containing pronounced stripes, patterns or vivid
colors. They distract from your child, the star of the show.
You can bring other outfits for your child to change into to capture that special picture. We
allow time for you to help your child or children to change outfits.
What else can I bring?
You may, of course, bring anything you like, but common items to be
photographed include favorite toys, sports equipment, musical equipment,
or family mementos. Try not to bring too much because we want the focus to be on your
child/children. Too many items only lead to distraction.
But if you want a photograph with a particular item, bring it
along and we will find a creative way to include it in one or more
portraits.

How long are the sessions?
Sessions last anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour. But, we'll take whatever
time is necessary to ensure you have numerous quality portraits from which to select.
When will the proofs be ready?
Proofs are generally ready one to two days after the portrait session.
We post proofs into a private gallery on our web site so that you can
review the portraits at your leisure and in the comfort of your home or office.
Another benefit of the private gallery is that you may (if you wish) share the login
information with friends and relatives so that they can view the portraits online
as well.
Can we order more prints?
If you don't see a package or print definition that meets your needs from the
online gallery, you may call us at (509) 465-1641 and we will gladly assist you. It generally
takes one or two days to complete a print order.
What if I need to change my appointment?
No problem! Simply call us at your earliest convenience to let us know about the change.
We will work with you to find the next appointment opportunity that fits with your schedule.
If you must cancel, we request that you try to give us at least two days notice.
Can I substitute different prints or portrait sessions in the package?
We do not allow substitutions within the special Children packages. But, if you have a specific request or
requirement, let us know and we will work with you to satisfy your need.
What happens if my child is fussy or will not cooperate during a session?
First of all, don't worry about it. Children are unpredictable and dealing with that unpredictability is part of the challenge and fun
of child photography. We are patient and have time to wait for the child to get into a better
mood or to participate in
activities that hopefully lead to the desired smiles and poses. The
absolute worst thing that can happen (and we can usually avoid it) is we
reschedule for another day when the situation has improved (no
additional charge). We don't want the parents to be stressed because the child is not cooperative.
How do I get started?
