Frequently Asked Questions
 |
How to get your pet ready for your photo session?
Have your pet properly groomed before your photo session. If you have a
dog, also exercise your dog before you bring him to the studio.
What can I bring?
Bring your pet's favorite treats and toys to help in getting his attention. If bringing
the pet's favorite blanket will make the pet happy, you are free to bring it as long as it
clean.
If you intend to bring outfits to dress your pet, please bring clothing that the pet is
familar with and has worn before. Putting an outfit on a pet for the very first time
at the photography studio is not a good idea. Avoid any clothing containing pronounced
stripes, patterns or vivid colors. They will distract from your pet, the star of the show.
You may, of course, bring anything you like that will make you pet comfortable, but
try not to bring too much because we want the focus to be on your pet. Too many items only
lead to distraction.

How long are the sessions?
Sessions last anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour. But, we'll take whatever
time is necessary to ensure you have numerous quality portraits from which to select.
When will the proofs be ready?
Proofs are generally ready one to two days after the portrait session.
We post proofs into a private gallery on our web site so that you can
review the portraits at your leisure and in the comfort of your home or office.
Another benefit of the private gallery is that you may (if you wish) share the login
information with friends and relatives so that they can view the portraits online
as well.
Can we order more prints?
If you don't see a package or print definition that meets your needs from the
online gallery, you may call us at (509) 465-1641 and we will gladly assist you. It generally
takes one or two days to complete a print order.
What if I need to change my appointment?
No problem! Simply call us at your earliest convenience to let us know about the change.
We will work with you to find the next appointment opportunity that fits with your schedule.
If you must cancel, we request that you try to give us at least two days notice.
Can I substitute different prints or portrait sessions in the package?
We do not allow substitutions within the special Pet print packages. But, if you have a specific request or
requirement, let us know and we will work with you to satisfy your need.
What happens if my pet is not cooperative during a session?
First of all, don't worry about it. Pets are unpredictable and dealing with that
unpredictability is part of the challenge and fun of pet photography. We are patient and have
time to wait for the pet to calm down and get into a better mood. The
absolute worst thing that can happen (and we can usually avoid it) is we
reschedule for another day when the situation has improved (no
additional charge). We don't want pet owners to be stressed because the pet is not cooperative.
Please bring a lead or other appropriate restraints to your pet's photo session.
How do I get started?
