The artworks that we produce are all made in common industry standard sizes so that they will fit standard frame sizes. Here is a list of the finished artwork sizes and the print size that we provide in each artwork.

All sizes are in inches. By industry convention, frames are usually designed to be about 1/8" larger in each dimension than the finished Artwork Size, though this is not usually reflected in the quoted size of a frame. Therefore an 8x10 inch frame is generally eight and one eighth inches by ten and one eighth inches where the matting rests inside the frame. This allows for some minor variation in the artwork size and makes it easy to place the artwork into the frame. Frames also generally overlap the front of the artwork by 1/4" or more on each side so that the edges of the mat board will not show through the front glazing material.

The outside dimensions of the frame will vary with the type of frame selected. When you purchase a framed art piece we provide the final outside dimenions of your selected frame so that you can verify the finished art piece will fit in your intended display location.
