Our Framed Art Collection provides many of our popular nature photography, landscape, wildlife, and fine art photographs mounted in beautiful frames in a variety of finishes. These fine frames come complete with clear glazing and hanging wire (metal frames) or hanging brackets (wood frames). All prints are mounted using museum quality 100% cotton double matting to help protect the artwork for a lifetime. Each image is printed on fine paper that will not show any signs of fading or other distortions for well over 70 years when displayed under normal viewing conditions. These are extremely high quality art pieces and are quite different from the low quality art consisting of cheap prints mounted with paper matting that you find in department stores. We are unwilling to sell that type of low quality art to our valuable and respected customers.

The artwork consists of the print and the surrounding matting. Metal frames are approximately 1/4" longer in each dimension than the artwork. The wood frame is approximately 3 3/8" longer in each dimension than the artwork.

Sierra mountain peaks and Tufas, mineral deposits created by streams upwelling into ancient Mono Lake, California, are bathed in the warm golden glow of the first light of an autumn morning. The tufas have been exposed due to receding lake levels, due in part to many years of water diversion from this region of the Sierra Mountains into the Los Angeles area. This diversion has been stopped and there are some signs of slow recovery to the lake.
